Welcome to Villa Anica
A quiet garden above the Old Town
Villa Anica is a carefully restored summer residence, around 300 years old, set back from the street beside Bogišić Park on the hillside above Pile Gate.
According to local tradition, the house once belonged to the family of the Ragusan writer Anica Bošković (1714–1804), sister of the scientist Ruđer Bošković. Today it welcomes only a few guests at a time, so the garden, terrace and jacuzzi stay calm.

The villa sits back from the road, a short and level walk through Bogišić Park. A stone gate with lanterns marks the entrance to the old summer house.

About 8 minutes downhill on foot to Pile Gate (550 m). The nearest beach, Šulić, is about 5 minutes away, Danče about 8, and Banje about 20 through the Old Town. The walk back is uphill.
